Overview & Use Cases

Use SightMap at the property, not just on the website, to help people find a specific apartment."

Most properties use SightMap on their website, where prospects browse and lease apartments. The same map also works at the property. A link to a specific apartment shows residents, guests, staff, vendors, delivery drivers, and rideshare drivers where that apartment is, in any phone browser. Properties already on SightMap need no additional software, setup, or fees.

Integration notes

  • Get Directions links are generated by your platform and already point to the apartment. Users don’t need to look up or copy links.
  • The integration is three REST API calls and a string substitution. Most integrations fetch the values once and reuse them.
  • Links use the property’s existing SightMap.
  • Links open in any browser. Visitors don’t need an app or login.

Data shown

  • Links show apartment location only. They never show resident information, pricing, availability, lease details, or floor plan layouts.
